It is a threat to the American way of life. It does not make screaming headlines; but, like termites, it is eating away at the heart and core of the American structure.
That doesn’t impress the world. They see that everywhere! What impresses non-believers is how believers handle adversity, not prosperity.
When Jesus told us to obey His commandments and keep His Word, He wasn’t just telling us to follow a bunch of religious rules and regulations.
The important thing is to walk with Christ, to live for Christ, and to have one consuming passion—to please Him.
Who could better help someone who is suffering from a chronic illness than someone who has also suffered in the same way?
So let’s go to the Word of God today and get the issue of prosperity and poverty straight. Let’s find out, once and for all, which is the blessing

There’s a sad statistic that about a third of marriages end up in divorce after the loss of a child. People all grieve differently, and it can drive a couple apart.
I’ll never forget the day I had the opportunity to put some of what I’d learned from him into action. I’d just been to a few of his meetings. Spiritually, I was still as green as a gourd.
