In this classic sermon series on "Choices," Billy Graham urges listeners to make a personal and conscious decision to serve God rather than the "idols" of the world. Referencing Joshua 24:15, "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord," he presents the foundational choice that every person must make to determine their eternal destiny.

The unavoidable decision: Indecision is a decision in itself. Graham explains that just as a traveler who hesitates to board a flight will miss their chance, those who delay their choice for Christ will also be left behind.
Two paths, two destinies: Drawing on passages like Jeremiah 21:8 and Matthew 7:13–14, Graham lays out the two paths available to everyone: the "way of life" and the "way of death." Ultimately, this leads to two possible destinies: heaven or hell.

Two masters: Echoing Matthew 6:24, Graham emphasizes that no one can serve two masters. He identifies the choice as being between Christ and the idols of the world, such as materialism, pleasure, greed, or even entertainment.

Two spiritual fathers: He teaches that people have a choice between two spiritual fathers: God or the devil. Graham states that while many may not realize it, those who do not choose God are spiritually aligned with the devil.

A personal and public vote: The choice to follow Christ is a personal one that cannot be made by anyone else, not even a parent. However, Graham calls for a public declaration, referencing how Jesus asked people to acknowledge Him openly.
