Creflo Dollar preached about the rooted in the principle that believers can only overcome Satan's attacks by depending on God's grace rather than their own strength.

This message was drawing on scriptures, James 4:7 "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you") and 2 Corinthians 12:9 ("My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness").

Key components of the connection
Humility leads to grace: The process begins with humility, which is a state of complete dependence on God. This attitude of not relying on one's own efforts is what opens a believer to receive God's grace.

Grace empowers resistance: This grace is not merely unmerited favor but a supernatural ability from God. It is this divine strength that empowers believers to stand firm against the devil's schemes. Resisting the devil is not a personal battle of will, but rather cooperating with the power that grace provides.

The mind is the battlefield: Dollar emphasizes that the devil's primary tactic is to attack the mind with deceptive thoughts, discouragement, and lies. The grace received through humility is what allows a believer to resist these mental attacks and maintain the victory that Jesus already secured.

Word-based thinking: Right-thinking, influenced by the Word of God, is reinforced by grace and is essential for defeating the enemy's suggestions. By guarding your thoughts and aligning them with scripture, you shut off the access the enemy tries to gain.

Active submission and resistance: The teaching combines two actions:
Submitting to God: This is the act of humbling yourself and depending on God's grace by giving your worries and problems to Him.

Resisting the devil: This means actively withstanding and fighting against the enemy's attacks, particularly those in the mind, by relying on God's power.

Faith and victory: Believers must have faith in the authority they have been given through Christ. Unbelief, like the kind Jesus encountered in his hometown, can limit the effectiveness of God's grace. By believing that the enemy is already defeated, you can use your God-given authority to crush the enemy's influence
