Apostle Joshua Selman teaches on "Walking in God's Favour". He defined Favour as divine help and assistance, which involves God partnering with people to support one's life and destiny.
Favour vs. hard work: Selman distinguished between the natural law of time and chance that governs the lives of many and the supernatural advantage that comes from God's favour. He noted that while a natural man has nothing to give him an advantage, a favoured person has God and others coordinating on their behalf.
How favour is obtained: Favour is not unmerited; rather, it is earned through good understanding of spiritual principles. Selman compared good understanding to a mother who gives birth to favour, while transgression gives birth to hardship.
